Turning Point Dog Training

Got our dog Penny at 16 weeks and were unsure of what to do with training. We had a dog previously, but got him well past his puppy years, so we figured training would be helpful. We were referred to TP by a friend and are very grateful! Paige was beyond helpful and really customized Pennys training to hit on the things we were looking for in a future long-distance hiking buddy. Having her as a resource to work through various training roadblocks brought that extra value to the 5 session package we went with. I now take Penny to the TP pack walks to reinforce things weve learned and to meet others that have gone through training and can empathize with the challenges you run into along the way. Ive done group walks with both Paige and Anthony as the leaders. Its a nice opportunity to see their different styles and pick their brains on little questions that dont come up during training sessions. The price up front seemed high, but now knowing the total value we are getting out of it, I am glad that we committed to working with Paige at Turning Point Dog Training!

Turning point training made such an incredible difference in our dog, Penny. I highly, highly recommend the team there! We worked with Anthony and he was so loving towards Penny while setting high standards for obedience and constantly putting her in an environment that would set her up for success. Weve also started boarding Penny there while out of town and its been a great opportunity to give Penny a refresher of her training while keeping her in a safe and caring place while shes not with us. We reached out to TPDT when we adopted our 11 month old border collie/corgi mix. She was resource guarding on a regular basis and had episodes that could go on for hours. We did the 8 week training package with Anthony and our pup has no issues with guarding, with the added benefit of other commands solidified such as place, and a consistent recall which has been a game changer for us. We appreciate Anthonys openness, expertise, and ability to meet our pup where she was at. Anthony and Paige demonstrate a high level of professionalism and knowledge, and we look forward to continuing other socialization events with TPDT so our pup can continue to grow.

Back in September my wife and I adopted and older pup named Wilbur, My wife reached out to turning point and they responded in a timely manner. Prices were very competitive with other trainers. Once we started training our dog Wilbur caught on very quick and learned some very good skills and commands. With my wife and I being first time dog owners these training classes were so helpful. I recommend turning point to everyone. 10/10 Thanks for everything !
