I just left the 117th target, after having my time wasted. I purchased deodorant and received my receipt, only to find that my items hadn't been discounted by 50% (which is what was listed on the sale ticket directly under the items I had purchased). Before going to customer service I went back to the aisle, double checked the sale, and even took a photo. "Sale! Old Spice body wash and deodorants 50% off As signed, Lowest priced item will be discounted. Quantities limited; no rain checks. Old Spice Wilderness Deo" That is verbatim from the sale ticket. So I figured it was just an error in the system. I went to customer service and explained the situation, only to be told that the 50% off is only upon purchasing the body wash. Though that's not what the ticket is advertising. At no point does it say [this item] is 50% off, upon purchasing old spice body wash. Nor does it say buy one item, get the other 50% off. So either they're being intentionally deceptive, or unintentionally doltish. Either way, the experience was rather unsatisfactory. The only enjoyable aspect was the store clerk who cashed me out. This person had to go by the sale as it was listed on the back end but, they were still very pleasant to talk to (I imagine this was despite being underpaid).
