Dr. Joseph B. Abdelmalak, MD

Dr Abdamalak is the only pain management physician who does certain procedures for Pudendal neuralgia and severe pelvic and hip pain. The man is a God send. And after RFA I had part of my life back til the RFA wore off. He's been on medical leave for a year and no one else is trained in Pudendal RFA. Now I'm essentially doctor hopping trying to find someone to treat my Pudendal Neuralgia.

After months of searching for a Dr. to help with pelvic floor issues Dr. Abdelmalak got to the source of the pain and performed a nerve block. AMAZING results. THANK YOU I had almost given up on finding someone to help me find a solution. Urolgy said there was nothing more they could do, ObGYN said nope can't help, Ortho said No way..can't help with pelvic floor.... He was Kind, Respectful and Sincere and he got results. Thank you again.

After months of physical therapy and GYN appointments/tests for pelvic floor pain Dr. Abdelmalak was able to identify the source of the pain in minutes. The first nerve block left me pain free for over 6 months. The second one didn't last as long. The kicker is waiting 4 weeks for a (surgical) nerve block to allow the insurance company time to approve the procedure. His assistant Barb is wonderful, taking all the time needed to explain everything in plain english.

Do not waste your time or money on Doctor Abdelmalak. He made me feel like I was a junkie who walked off the streets into his office for a quick fix. He called me a liar saying he saw the ex-rays of my back and said there was nothing wrong with my back. He talked to me like I was trash and did not or would not listen to anything I had to say. Three other doctors, (one being a specialist) could see I had problems with my back, except Abdelmalak. I will never go to him again. He is a sorry excuse for a doctor.
