The Loft at Peck's Hall

This venue is perfect for weddings and other events up to 150 people. It is beautifully remodeled, but with much of the original design of the building left intact. It has a beautiful bridal suite and groom / groomsmen room.

My husband and I got married at the Loft in September 2023. This venue is simply stunning. It's one thing to see pictures, but you have to be in the space to understand how special it truly is--so historic and unique. The team at the Loft was so easy to work with. They answered all of our questions so quickly and thoroughly and checked in often leading up to our wedding. And during our wedding weekend, they went above and beyond to help us transform the space into the wedding of our dreams--although that space doesn't need much to make that happen. Highly recommend the Loft!

We got married here Oct 7th and had a great experience. Beth is an amazing wedding coordinator and was able to pull off a miracle...to no fault of her own she was given my wedding only 5 days before with no information and she somehow pulled it off with zero issues! Everything went so smoothly and was just beautiful. The space is PERFECT. It's huge and beautiful and just has a great vibe. I'd recommend this place to anyone planning an event or a wedding.

Pros: -beautiful venue -the younger employees were all very kind and professional. There was a young man who came at the end of the night and helped tremendously. -the getting ready suites were very nice and spacious. Cons: -there are only 2 electrical outlets available in the reception space and one is a big box on the floor a major tripping hazard -there are also some parts of the floor that cave in or straight up holes which is another tripping hazard -the elevator is very old and it being antique is cute and all but not practical when you have a loft on the 3rd floor and vendors who cant carry equipment up the stairs. They were flexible with their the elevator can only be ran once an hour rule but it should really be replaced with an elevator more capable of hauling people and items as often as needed with no risk of overheating or breaking down. The stairs are also quite steep and narrow with questionable hand railings. -there is only one women's bathroom in the entire place (however they are private bathrooms so really either gender can go into any bathroom but only one singular bathroom is labeled as a womens bathroom. Theyd be better off labeling them as gender neutral bathrooms since both genders use both anyways. The men have a bathroom in their getting ready suite, the women do not.) -the owner was incredibly rude at the end of the night. We had all hands on deck working very hard to tear everything down at 9pm even though we were told we could have the wedding right up to 10pm and not everything had to be out at that time. The owner came in at 9:45pm while we were already frantically getting things out and were about halfway done and started yelling to get everything out right now. Him yelling at us was unprofessional and did not help us move any faster as we already had about 15 people running stuff out. If he needed everything out by 10pm on the dot it shouldve been communicated more clearly to us. If I had recommendations for this venue it would be to 1. Make some upgrades to make the building a safer space to host over 100 people at a time especially older folks considering many grandparents are often there. 2. Very clearly communicate what time all items need to be out and be appreciative of the money spent to choose this venue to host a wedding rather than yelling at the wedding party at the end of the night.
