Everyone from the front desk to the xray techs were empathetic and kind. I am not a small woman and anybody who is overweight knows how difficult it can be to get medical care without everything being blamed on weight. Dr. Wurzelbacher was amazing. He explained to me the reality of my condition without being condescending or rude and explained the why of everything he told me. I was not left to wait in the waiting room, the exam room or anywhere very long (Stevie the assistant was always there) and while my appointment was a lot longer than anticipated, it was though and I felt cared for from start to finish.

Cant walk, Was discriminated against for having a medical card in ohio. Refused to help me, i have 0 and I mean 0 history of any drug use or abuse. The entire Mercy business treats you like a number.

I have been going to this facility for around ten years or so. I have bad arthritis and have had both knees, one shoulder, and both thumb joints replaced, three fingers fused at the first knuckle along with arthroscopic on both shoulders and knees. It was originally Wellington Orthopedics and Sports Medicine but now is part of Mercy Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. The only surgeries I have had have been with Wellington surgeons which were excellent and I highly recommend them. As for therapy/PT the therapists there are top of the line. If you follow their direction and complete the PT you will get better. I am currently a patient there and always will be when it is required.
