My daughter studied violin with Marion from 5th grade through high school. She is now studying violin performance in college, and considers Miss Marion one of the most influential people in her life. In a very warm and nurturing relationship, Marion was able to challenge and stretch my daughter, to instill in her a deep passion for music, and to demonstrate an outpouring of love and generosity. This supportive relationship lasts well after high school as Marion continues to be a source of encouragement for my daughter's journey in music.

Marion is a violin whisperer. She has taught my younger brother and my oldest son. She leads her students to mastery, and also instills in them a tenacity, a diligence, a drive, a pathway for personal accountability that translates into all avocations. Marion consistently gets the best out of all of her students. Her lessons prepare children and teenagers for the rest of their lives. Every year, Peraza Music students go on to study at some of the best University's in the country.

Our young children are so fortunate to learn from Marion. Her ability to connect with each child where they are is a gift to our family. Our kids are learning about the importance of practice, the value of hard work, the thrill of daily/weekly triumphs... and also violin.
