Jake has been wonderful. Hes taken a chance on working with me and I appreciate all hes done for me so far. Hes honest with me and helps me grow as an artist and Im grateful for that.

Took 170+ days to get paid for a job I worked for them. Probably wouldnt have gotten paid at all if I didnt text once a day for a week. Hes also extremely narcissistic and condescending. Waste of 700$ Had a poor experience and sincerely dont recommend.

I feel so blessed to have been referred to Jake (owner of Wings Model Management). I have experience in modeling however, took many years off due to health as well as to be a busy full time mom. Coming back into modeling was something I always promised myself I would try after my kids got older. Unfortunately, my previous agents are no longer with us and I feared I would not find another agent that made me feel so at ease and comfortable. I took it as a sign and put that on hold. The other day someone suggested I contact Wings. I did and Jake got back to me in 45 min. We agreed to meet the next day. Being that I have experience in the past I wanted to make sure and do all my research. This is where it gets upsetting. I did my research and saw a few reviews that were downright hateful and vindictive. Of course, there are some that are obvious blatant lies but some, if people didn't know better, may actually believe. There are definitely far more positive reviews than negative. However, the negative ones are just so nasty and either flat out obvious lies or seem to be a misunderstanding. You can tell that several of the reviews are disgruntled parents or "models". I feel it is safe to say that they are either upset that Jake is too blunt for their liking or they are misinformed and think that headshots and comp cards are free. These are costs you will have anywhere. I speak from experience, his fees are very reasonable for 1 but for 2, you are not required to go through him for your photos anyhow. So it was brutally cold and it is a Sunday but Jake was kind enough to make it out to meet with me. He came around the corner and I felt instant relief. He was completely warm and welcoming, it felt like an old friend from the beginning. We spent the next hour talking about Wings and Jake's start, all the people that we have worked with and reminiscing over good times and the great people we have encountered over the years in this business. I can tell that Jake is not going to sugarcoat things. He has a business to run and it is clear he wants people that are in it for the right reason and are willing to put in the work to get where they want to go. I can tell you from our one hour conversation that Jake is a no nonsense, professional, who is passionate, knowledgeable, serious about his business, and I am so excited to begin working with him. I hope that people don't read these few terrible things about Wings and immediately discredit the business. I have done my research and I met with Jake who was more than happy to take so much time out of his weekend to answer my many questions and clarify and explain things that he should never even have to explain to me. If you are in modeling or acting or ever even considered it, I highly recommend contacting Wings. If nothing else you will get valuable feedback from one of the absolute best out there. It's sad that people can be so mean. There wouldn't be room in the industry for people who are out to intentionally hurt someone with absolutely zero facts to back that up anyway. Instead of thanking Jake for taking an hour out of his day (for free) to talk to someone and give them his honest opinion and valuable advice, they take it personal and get on here in an attempt to ruin his reputation when they don't like his feedback or they find out that he doesn't offer guaranteed overnight success. He does offer advice, tools, support, time, knowledge, auditions, guidance and much more. If you're looking for someone to "promise" fame, hotels host these "auditions" a few times a year and "only" charge $5K for "guaranteed success" or one of the local "modeling schools" that promise you will be the next big star AFTER "investing" in THEIR MANDATORY CLASS. I say let success speak for itself and hopefully Jake never feels he has to defend himself or his business over people who can't handle the truth. People who are clearly trying to get into the wrong business or possibly just don't have any understanding of the business. Wings Model Management is top notch and it shows.

Where do I start. I absolutely am Thankful for Jake. Words can not express how much I value and appreciate his passion for the industry. His hard work, dedication, and passion goes far beyond and I am grateful for the many opportunities. Before Covid I wanted my son to model. I have researched many agencies and landed here at Wings. I chose wings due to the honesty and commitment level of the agency. By the time my son turned 4, Jake presented me with an invitation to expo, which I believe was an opportunity of a lifetime. Not only did we gain an amazing family, I also discovered how talented my son really was. That talent I couldnt see, but Jake could see. At first I was against it thinking that my son was to young but eventually I gave in and trusted my mother agent and allowed him to train my son for expo. Yes, expo is a financial obligation, but I will say that it was by far the best experience of my childs life. At the age of 4 my son received 15 callbacks and won overall child actor of the year (ages 4-12) and singer of the year. He memorized a song , monologue, and a 2 person scene. On top of performing in the overall showcase by modeling and singing This experience just recently led my son to being signed in LA and auditioning for his first big role I always tell people who become interested in this field that you must be committed and trust the process. With my background in the performing arts, I understand that this is a competitive discipline and that it will take ALOT of dedication on my part and my son if I want success for my child. My family has found success from traveling weekly from Columbus to Cincinnati just so that my son can take class and continue to learn from Jake and his staff. I must say that the progress my son has made since taking acting classes at Wings has been very impressive and exceptional and I look forward to his future. Again thank you Jake . Words can not express how much we appreciate you. We love our Wings family.
