Mercy Health - Oak Hills Internal Medicine

Had no problems there at all. Nice doctors and nurses. Have no complaints at all. Ran well and a great doctors office. I definitely would recommend this place to family and friends. Thanks to all the staff for all your hard work and dedication some people really do appreciate it and care.

Shanmugam is a referral-ologist. If you want a doctor that will send you somewhere else for anything more than the sniffles or diarrhea this is the doctor for you. If you want a doctor who does the least amount possible for a physical exam as well as treatment then please make an appointment with Dr S. Hes very kind and never acts like you are stupid. Thats why he gets three stars.

Whatever you do, dont waste your time going here. Specifically, SHREENIVISAN SHANMUGAM office and staff at Oak Hill Internal Medicine building! THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT WOMEN AND THEY ARE MONEY HUNGRY! They tried to prescribe me 2 different kinds of medicine and needles (Im not a diabetic and I was unaware).. they even went as far as telling me it was ready for pickup at my pharmacy. I went to pick it up and they charged me over $60+ so Im like okay, thats not horrible for 2 different medications.. They only brung out needles.. so I ask what the needles are for and why was it the ONLY item given to me. I was told to pickup 2 different medications.. The pharmacy said that the doctors office (Shreenivasan Shanmugam) staff should have informed me that the items needed to be approved before I could purchase them. So I told her I dont want any of it because what do I need needles for??? Refund me. They told me THEY CANT and its on the SHREENIVASAN! I called and contacted the doctors office on MULTIPLE OCCASIONS and have gave me numerous times to fix the issue or reach back out like they said they would. Its been about a month.. and NONE of them have reached out or came with a solution to the issue. This is NOT the first time he has messed up! He also failed to diagnose me properly and his solution was to (drink water)..

Dr. Esana Pokhrel is terrible. My mother has been sick for 3 weeks, continuing to get worse, and has VERY serious symptoms that are not to be taken lightly. Her blood results were alarming and no one has called her in DAYS, not even to give results or to give the orders for further testing. We only see everything thru MyChart and is how we got the next steps scheduled. She calls, I call, we talk to nurses, but no doctor ever calls back although the nurses put in the chart for them too. The only thing the nurse suggested was going to the ER, which she went to previously and they also did nothing. Her resort shouldnt have to be to go to the ER when she was seen by the practice earlier this week, they determined she had an infection, was given no antibiotics and is continually worse. She is worried about organ failure and no one will give her answers or talk with her PERIOD. RUN from this practice.
