Love Restoration Hardware products but unfortunately will never be able to enjoy them in our home thanks to the horrible service at this store. My partner and I stopped in just before Christmas and explained that we would like to check out options for our soon-to-be renovated backyard/covered patio. Everything started off great and we narrowed down some options that we both decided were perfect but explained that we wanted to wait to place the order until we actually were under construction and closer to Spring (as we may want to change pieces, sizes, etc.) We received several emails over the next 2 months saying we should place our order and they will just store in a warehouse for us and I explained we wanted to wait to finalize our list (of about $15-$20k worth of furniture). Designs for the backyard were changing and we weren't ready to commit to sizing of pieces just yet. We then received an email stating our order was going to be archived, after only two months and being very transparent about our timing. I reached out last week to say we were ready to the pull trigger on our order and received a rude reply several days later saying she had been busy with customers "that booked appts way in advance" and that their prices increased that day. I explained that was ironic and disappointing given we were clear about our intentions. She replied that if I can show proof of our original prices, then she will honor them for one week. I had proof.. as did she as it was all in email and their design system. Needless to say, we placed a large order with Pottery Barn and the customer service was incredible.
