Guidepost Montessori at Blue Ash

Teachers are not welcoming, very unorganized and do not appropriately report and communicate things as they should. This was my personal experience and I wouldnt send my child there if it was free.

It's been a great experience ever since they opened their doors. We started sending our infant there at 3mo old, and she loves it!

We've had a wonderful experience with our son in the toddler program at Guidepost Montessori in Blue Ash. He's loved on by his teachers and learning so much through the Montessori curriculum. The facility is sparkling clean and beautiful!

This has been such a different experience than the daycare we started our son with prior to Guidepost opening. He truly loves his guides and has learned to do so many everyday things on his own, vs just numbers or colors. Seeing the photos daily of what he chooses to do warms our hearts and there are so many play based options he's able to do. The class sizes are small and he gets to go outside multiple times a day. Also, every room has so much light vs his previous center. We are so blessed this facility opened in Cincy.

Our daughter was enrolled at Guidepost for about 4 months and unfortunately has already been dismissed from the school. At the end of January, her teacher brought concerns to us about her hearing, which I am grateful for because we did find out that she cannot hear properly after failing five different hearing tests. I advised several staff members, including the Head of School, that her hearing test was scheduled for March 1st. At the end of February we were asked to meet with the Head of School, Olivia Hughes, the day after receiving an email about two staff members leaving the facility, to discuss safety concerns. Mrs. Hughes took it upon herself to compile a list of safety concerns that she and other staff had been monitoring for over a month! My child just turned two in January. If safety concerns exist, why were they not immediately brought to the attention of a parent?? In the end these safety concerns (my child not responding when her name was called) were 100% related to her not being able to hear properly. The regional manager did reach out to our family to offer her sincere apologies and we did appreciate that. However, we are in such a horrible situation with trying to find new childcare that will be warm, loving, welcoming, and safe for our child. We had the meeting on a Thursday, I immediately met with her pediatrician the next day to come up with a plan and to see if we could get her appointment moved up to an earlier date. While I was in the appointment with my daughter Mrs. Hughes sent an email advising us that our daughter was no longer welcome beyond the end of the month. The regional manager assured us that the situation should not have been handled this way, but as long as that current staff is there I will be sending my daughter back.
