I contacted one of their realtors online to discuss a property. Before my contact was returned, I called to question details of the listing that did not match the all the information on auditor and recorder offices. I was a bit put off that the broker didn't want to discuss any of the issues, but what really put me off was no offer was made to show the property, or engage me in anyway to ask what I was looking for. I would have appreciated that help, but didn't want to work with someone that seemed uninterested in working with me. All in all the representative I spoke with seemed very pleased to not talk to me, so I called back later that day so let her know I was no longer interested.

Stopped at office & was immediately greeted. The place was very clean & cheerful atmosphere. When I told them what I was looking for they had just had something come on the market that sounded like what I was looking for. She asked what would be a good day & time for me. She then set me up to be shown several properties that sounded awesome.

I purchased my home a year ago with the reality group. Overall, the realtor did her job. We closed on the house in a timely manner. She drew up paperwork and was responsive to my questions. She presented herself professionally. She paired us with a great lender. 5/3 Bank is an AWESOME company to work with!! However, there were several frustrating missteps through this process. 1. The realtor strongly pushed me into a home that was at the top of my price range. I get it, most people would do this. Just be forewarned, in doing business with this company, they dont necessarily have your best interest in mind. 2. I moved to this area from out of town and my realtor from this company recommended a home inspector who was, at best, distracted. He missed some extremely dangerous wiring issues in my kitchen. I also paid him to do a re-inspection on the house. Instead of actually inspecting my home, HE JUST ASKED THE SELLERS AGENT IF THE REPAIRS WERE DONE. I have dealt with this home inspector directly but once again, I would not have to deal with this negative experience, had my realtor given me a larger selection of home inspectors. 3. The realtor also chose for us (instead of letting us choose) a home warranty, which has been deplorable. I tried using the home warranty for a repair and it was such a headache that I never tried again. 4. The realtor was not exceptionally detail oriented. She did not send me receipts from the contractors who did the repairs after the work was supposedly done. She had a good enough approach to the repairs done on my house (more details available upon request). In the haggling process, she was not necessarily looking out for my best interest. She wanted me to absorb most of the closing costs. I was closing on a house in December and I needed a termite inspection report done. She just gave us an old report that the seller had done back in the summer and just passed it off as good enough. 5. She did a lot of hard selling and at times did not listen to me. We walked into one house and it wreaked of cigarette smoke. I had an infant with breathing issues at the time, so this house was a nonstarter. I told her looking at this house was a waste of time because of the smoke and she said, Oh really? I dont smell anything, just take a look around...(paraphrased) Overall, I regret buying the house in which I currently live. This thing is at the top of my budget, and the house had enough bandaids on it from my agent and the sellers agent to get through closing, but it has turned into a money pit. Did this company knowingly sell me a bad house? I dont think so. I certainly would hope not. Did this reality company do their job? Yes. They sufficiently completed the task. Did they work with me, assess mine and my familys needs and help me find the best home? No. They just wanted to make a sale.

I needed a place to live right away and Joyce got me into a huge, beautifully remodeled 2 bedroom. It had brand new appliances including a new dishwasher and washer/dryer. There was parking and storage as well as great access to the stores in the downtown area. Joyce was quick to accommodate any of my needs and I would highly recommend her for your real estate needs. Joyce is a realtor and landlord that you can trust and the properties she has to offer are top notch!
