image I can't shop here anymore. Everything is priced about double what it should be. They're actually charging $1.91 for glasses. I paid $5.14 for a kids toy that turned out to be broken. They're pricing used books @ $3.97/ea. WHAT? No. $4 & $5 for baskets. You can buy new at Dollar Tree/Target/TJ Maxx, etc. SMH. They also got rid of their color coded discount days & replaced it with a $10 discount on $30 purchases. Not horrible, but I like the other way better. It's almost become silly to shop here, unfortunately.

Thank you, cheryl, for sharing your thoughts. We try to price our items at fair market value. Sometimes we get it right, and sometimes we do not. Please know that the decision to transition from Color of the Week to Give Me Five was after YEARS of evaluation from all levels of our agency. Most Goodwills across the country have done away with Color of the Week, and have chosen not to replace with any other discount program. We opted to offer some type of program that would incentivize and reward our customers (in addition to our loyalty program and senior discount). We all loved the program, but has you aware, the rising costs of wages, utilities and rent have caused us, like many businesses to have to make tough decisions and revaluate all aspects of our business. I would also share that, Color of the Week had many unfortunate side effects for our Goodwill. Every week, for example, customers would ‘hide’ items in other parts of our store so that they could come back and recover those products when the discount was in effect. This type of behavior was widespread and had caused a variety of other issues managing our stores. The new Give Me Five program allows customers to purchase at a discount right away….not wait five weeks for a discount on an item (and no need to hide items). Your support helps thousands of people in our community with vital services. I’m including below a link to some stories of people in our community who were helped because you shopped and donated ...https://www.goodwillgoodskills.org/about/success-stories/

image This is my most favorite Goodwill to visit. Clean facilities, friendly staff, and you will always find something cool. Their clothes selection is always great.

Thank you so much, Brooke! We love hearing that. 💙

image Disappointed they did away with colors discounts. prices went up by about $2 and there are no discounts until you spend $30. There is no incentive to shop secondhand if you cant find a bargain. Wish they would bring back the color tag discounts.

image I bought a package of 3 puzzles that were in a bag and asked the associate if all pieces were there and was told that it would be noted if any were missing. Another puzzle was to make sounds and was advised again that if it didn't work, it would be noted on it. I got home and the bag puzzles ALL had missing pieces and the one that should make sounds, doesn't and can't since the place where the batteries goes is taken apart inside. I wasted money when I was instructed that I wasn't!!! Don't trust them.

We're sorry you had a negative experience. We follow a ‘zero flaw’ philosophy at our Goodwill stores and work to only place items on the floor that are in good, working condition. Products that do not meet those standards are oftentimes sent to our Outlet location or our salvage operation. We will share this information with our management team to make improvements.
