        I bought a large container of maple syrup, 32oz Amber a few months ago. As I was pouring one day, a large thumbnail came out that had black dirt and grease on it. Absolutely disgusting! You got some real sick people working for you. I literally pictured in my mind a guy biting off his nail and spitting it into the syrup as it cooked down. Makes me wonder how often they are flicking snot and who knows what else into the products. I will never buy your products again! I'm furious that you would post that response and try to delegitimize what came from your product. As of now, I only buy syrup in clear glass containers because of this incident. I left your company a message, I expect an apology for the product and your response to this review. I will also file a complaint with the board of health since you think this is a joke.

      Hi Ben, I trust if this was a legitimate concern, you would have reached out to us at the company instead of just putting a poor review on Google. For peace of mind, our maple syrup travels through a closed system for canning, there is no way possible for any outside debris to enter into the syrup. It travels through a filter process before being jugged up. We are inspected by the Geauga County Health Dept, the Ohio Department of Agriculture & the Food & Drug Administration.
