contracted to start mid-apr'23.., as of 17oct'23 they haven't shown. kept deposit, and endless excuses. would not recommend to anybody.

Took a very large deposit from us and never did the job. Would not refund our deposit

My yard is all clovers and they would always promise things that they did not deliver. Almost 3k and my yard is garbage.

This company run by two brothers, Dave and Dan Volpe are not to be trusted and I would highly advise anyone that is considering their services to find someone else . I hired this company to put down top soil, install a new lawn, build mulch beds and to put river rocks under my deck. Six weeks after hiring this scam company the work is less than average and is not even complete. I can say this is true for my neighbor who also used their services and were to do their job at the same time as mine. On the second day they were at my house I stopped by to see how things were progressing. They stated they were only about 2 hours away from completing the work. At this time I made a big mistake... I trusted them and paid the balance for the work done and went back to work. They only thing Dave Volpe did at this point was head right to the bank and cash the check. It hit my account within an hour of me giving it to him. The end result. The mulch beds were not completed. They did not put down a weed barrier under the rocks beneath my deck. They did not kill or treat the weeds I had that they promised to kill. When I called them he promised to be out in a couple of days. The excuses I heard over the next several weeks were the weather, his grandmother died, he got the days confused and the last, the brakes went in the truck. Believe me, I cannot make this up. Avoid these guys... I spread the word to my neighbors in our new community of these guys and I am glad to say that none of them used Volpe and I have to admit, their yards are looking great.
