My grandfather invested with ML for decades. He passed away from Alzheimer’s in his early 70’s at which point my grandmother wanted to liquidate his investments after seeing a pattern of expensive fees and unnecessary buy/sell orders. This branch made it incredibly difficult to transfer their money to the local bank and continued with unnecessary buy/sell orders, commissions, and fees. This was several years ago and I just found out about this. I’m 31 years old and I’ll never invest a single dollar with this scumbag organization. My children will never invest a single dollar with ML. These people are borderline criminal. There are infinite investment options today. Stay away from these leaches.
