Office staff call me (for an appointment they scheduled two weeks in advance) a day before telling me I am not able to be seen because they aren't taking new patients when it clearly states they are and they scheduled me TWO... WEEKS... PRIOR! Horribly unprofessional!

While Dr. Ahmed is wonderful, her Dover office staff leave much to be desired. They can be lazy and not helpful at all. They have a "passing the buck" attitude. I have been seeing Dr. Ahmed at this location for over a year and have found this hasn't improved. I will be looking for another general practitioner where office staff are a bit more professional.

Dr. Sumayya is absolutely wonderful! She has always taken her time with me during my appts. She has a wonderful, kind spirit. Im always pleased with her and her staff.

Absolutely awful. I scheduled an appointment and I was very upfront about the fact that I needed a physical for my issunce cost reduction. They agreed and I stopped calling other doctors. On the day of the appointment the first thing I noticed was the dirty, stain riddled carpet in the waiting room. I told them I forgot my physical form and asked if i could bring it back later, which they said was no problem. After signing some electronic forms that I was not provided copies of, they asked for my co-pay. I explained that this was my well office visit and there shouldn't be a copay... The receptionist insisted I pay because I was a new patient. We went round and round and eventually she talked to the doctor. They would not see me for reasons I don't understand. They were fine with me until I refused to pay the copay, then they said it was because they weren't my primary care doctor. I told them to mark it however they wanted since it was the same exam i came in for regardless of what they call it. Then they said it was because they didn't have my medical history, which they never asked for, including when I made the appointment. Even then, they didn't ask who my primary physician was they just refused. I would encourage everyone to stay as far away form this practice as they possibly can.
