        When this church was constructed the builders dug out the area where the parking lot is now present, previously this area was a grassy field which collected and retained lots of drainage water when it rained. Unfortunately, as a result of the construction of this church and the position of the parking lot, the water flow was redirected and extremely damaging flooding occurred to neighboring homes. St. Michael's REFUSED to accept any responsibly for the massive damage the flooding created.
