My daughter brought me here for lunch for my birthday. This is a cool combination of good, well-prepared food and a craft/microbrewery. You can walk back and forth between the 2 businesses inside. My daughter went over to the brewery and got a delicious peach cider in a nice glass. We had the cheeseburger with fries and fish and chips. If you like good fish and chips, you know that they are not easy to find. I have found them! Absolutely delicious. The cheeseburger was gigantic, and my boyfriend says that it's the best cheeseburger he's had in a long time. Relaxed atmosphere with some class. We loved it! They also have a large patio area with tons of tables, great for summer.

This was our 3rd trip to the Chef Shack and all 3 times was the same story: excellent! All 4 of us were impressed with the speed of service and the quality of the food. One of the best burgers in the Buckeye Lake area! Too bad its not right on the lake because we would be there more often.
