Dr. Sakamoto is definitely worth the 5-star ratings he has been given! My dentist recommended me to a periodontist to have my below-the-gum tooth pain evaluated. Instead of going to the Periodontist that my dentist recommended, I decided to find my own. I looked for Periodontist on Google and sorted by "top rated" and found Central Ohio Periodontics. It was easy to make an appointment but was more than a month out. (A specialist that is good at what they do, tends to be in high demand). I was able to get moved up due to a canceled appointment, which means I was able to be seen within a week. At any rate, all the great reviews that I read about Dr. Sakamoto AND HIS STAFF seemed to match my own experience. He is very personable and I didn't feel rushed. He explained the problem, the treatment options, worst case scenario, and what he recommended. I ended up in the worst case scenario and had 2 teeth extracted (painlessly with a local). He also prepped the sockets by adding bone grafting for future implants. There was very little pain after the medication wore off. I was even able to work my regular job that evening. If you need a Periodontist, look no further.
