Ellen F. Casper, Ph.D. and Associates

First secretary (I believe her name was Allison) I spoke with was wonderful and made me feel heard and explained concisely and professionally what I needed to do to setup my initial appointment. On repeat calls for clarification on what steps I needed to take, I interacted with two different people, one a secretary I assume, another an office manager. Both of these people seemed like they didn't have the time of day to even let me ask a question, cut me off halfway through my question, and talked down at me. I understand if you are answering phones you will receive a lot of repetitive questions, but when working with people seeking help, people being rude and condescending from the jump on your phone lines will only turn people away and cause harm. Do better.

They seem to prioritize repeat business over making real long term progress. Don't care about harm reduction.

I saw Sarah for quite a few months to address PTSD and an eating disorder. We were supposed to do EMDR which she is trained i . I saw her for 4 months and I repeatedly asked when we would be doing EMDR and we never did. She is a very respectful, nice and attentive therapist but I really feel like she did not do what she said she was going to. It was very frustrating and felt like I was just wasting my time.
