StoneDek is putting out a really stellar product right now. For the home owner who wants the ability to have a patio on their deck or for their landing or front steps, StoneDek is the product for you! They allow pavers to be set into your porch or deck to give you an outdoor patio feel should you not have the real estate for a patio on your property! Their technology and Customer Service are out of this world and for that reason, I love them!

From an Engineering perspective, Stonedeks offers an elegant, technically sound solution for installation of tiled decks and roof terraces especially in freezing climates applying SilkaGrates line of components. Mortar, grout, stone and wood products used in a rigid assembly, subjected to temperature fluctuations from summer to winter, WILL CRACK; because these materials expand and contract differently. In technical terms, the materials have different thermal expansion coefficients causing damaging stress forces within the assembly. Stonedeks solution decouples the rigid part of the problem and also solves the integrity problem when water freezes (and expands) in cracks. Great team at Stonedeks, hands on!
