        Would NOT recommend Varsity Rentals to anyone. The parking lot is extremely unsafe. I was chased down by multiple homeless people walking into my apartment or taking garbage out to the dumpster. In fact, there are often many homeless individuals going through the dumpsters on a daily basis. Additionally, our water in the apartment was cloudy. I called the office and was told I had to bring it up with the water department. There was never a follow through and we had to drink bottled water. These apartments are absolutely filthy and appliances are extremely cheap. In addition, a month into my lease I was told I would not get my security deposit back due to the uncleanliness of the apartment from previous tenants. Pick a cleaner and safer option!

        The housing is cheap and clean, maintenance has been quick to arrive and thorough when fixing the small problems we have had, the houses are close to campus, and fair treatment from the landlord for everybody.

        Maintenance is quick to fixing problems and the monthly rent is a lot cheaper than most housing in Akron. The houses are also in really great condition!
