Dr. Chelsea Weyand has been in practice since 2012. She joined Akron Childrenâ€™s as a pediatric psychologist, and serves as the Director of the Pediatric Psychology Fellowship. After receiving her medical degree from the Indiana State University, she completed her residency at John L. Gildner Regional Institute for Children and Adolescents Rockville, MD and fellowship at Akron Childrenâ€™s. She has a special interest in epilepsy, functional neurological symptom disorder and rehabilitation psychology. Dr. Weyand is board certified in ChildÂ and Adolescent Psychology.

I had been seeing Dr. Weyand for few years before moving and starting a new life. She has been amazing! Always so nice and gentle with advice. She helped me through so much and getting passed a lot of my anxieties and insecurities, making me a lot more confident person entering adulthood. I 100% reccomend her.
