Innovative Air was brought in as the contractor on my new home build. First issue, the far end of the house had clicking in the ceiling ductwork. At first Mike said he'd never seen anything like this and blamed the plumbing. There was no plumbing in that area. After the 3rd visit, Mike then claimed it was completely normal and his house did it too! Next, Cory was inexperienced at installing the fireplace exhaust. I supplied a CAD drawing with all the angles and elevations (as the homeowner). I ended up running back to Fargo twice on the same day to get different elbows. Innovative ended up being far more expensive than going with an alternative contractor that Mike said was too expensive. My humidifier did not work, none of the controls wiring was hooked up. Mike blamed it on the electrician who is not responsible for low voltage wiring. Finally, our 1 bedroom was 9 degrees colder than the rest of the house. At first, Mike wanted to close off all the supply vents other than that room. Turns out Innovative ran R8 ductwork though the cold attic, but thought it was fine because it's code. Thankfully the insulator came back and corrected the mistake for them. Enjoy the review Mike!
