Complete Motion Therapy - Riverview

Complete Motion Therapy has been my happy place for physical therapy for some time. Everyone at Complete Motion Therapy is very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. After a total hip replacement, I chose to work with Justin Anderson, PT, DPT. He was highly recommended by another physical therapist whom I had seen for therapy after a knee replacement some years before, however, she had changed careers and was no longer available for physical therapy. Justin is awesome and from my experience he is very knowledgeable, professional, and really cares about my recovery. My therapy with Justin has helped me to move better, improve my balance and strengthen weakened muscles, some which we are still working on. Another thing I like is if, I am having difficulty with one of my home exercises, Justin will suggest another exercise to replace it and demonstrates how its done. At Complete Motion Therapy, the well equipped gym is avalable for use any time even on days when I don't have a theapy session. I enjoy using the gym to help strengthen my muscles and work on my balance, There is also a pool and hot tub available. I had both knees replaced in the last year ( TKR) 11 weeks apart. Complete Motion Therapy has completely given me my life back. My Physical Therapy was incredible . PT should be give and take between you and the therapists. They pushed me, but always asked can we go further some days I could, some days I could not. I always felt heard. They made me feel like we were both a team trying to get me back to normal, and actually better than normal as I was bone on bone and in a lot of pain before surgery. The best part about Complete Motion Therapy is their giant hot therapy pool ( 90 plus degrees) and hot tub. Fargo/Moorhead does not have hardly any options for this and this helped my recovery more than anything. ( its not swimming). My ( ROM) range of motion was increased very quickly with the addition of this hot water aquatic therapy (and it felt so good) in addition to reducing swelling. I worked mainly with Justin and Joel and cannot say enough good things about them. I am a former D1 athlete and NDSU coach, and it became clear to me quickly that these guys knew how to get my function restored. I now can do anything; have no pain or swelling and am walking over 5 miles a day- without a limp. Check this place out, you will be glad you did!!!

This past spring, I tore my rotator cuff, and it was getting close to being a frozen shoulder. I had very little range of motion and the pain was extreme. I was told I needed to get Physical Therapy and I knew right away I wanted to go to Complete Motion Therapy. I got to know two of the therapists while working at Riverview Place. Joel and Justin are professional, knowledgeable, and easy going. They make the healing process an enjoyable experience. My insurance would have covered up to 33 visits, but Justin got me back to complete motion in 11 visits. I am so grateful that Justin knew of a way to help me work toward progress, but in a way that my pain was manageable. If you want complete healing with competent and compassionate Physical Therapists, I highly recommend the Complete Motion Therapy teams in Fargo and Casselton.
