I highly recommend working with Detailed Home Solutions. Ingrid went way above and beyond to make sure that our estate furniture sale was successful. We couldnt have done it without her. Our house was sold and we werent in town for the closing. She took care of everything for us and saved us a lot of headache. Shes very professional and responsive. After the sale she also made sure that our house looks clean, tidy, and ready for closing day. She is awesome to work with!!

So much over priced merchandise! Like crazy dollar amounts far exceeding current fair market value! When I asked about the half priced Sunday deal that they advertised everywhere, I was assured that the specific item I had asked about would no longer be half priced the next day at all simply because I asked! Then promptly marked it as such, simply because I literally picked it up and asked about it! AFTER the saturday sale has fully closed. Resulting a no sale... I would have returned the next day and purchased several other items in addition to that one, had the unreasonable woman not demonized my request for a fair price the following day as advertised. I will NEVER hire these people!................ In response to the dubious reply by the owner below, the doors were locked and the sale was over and closed for the day by the time she said "it sold at full price after I left" It was closing just as I had arrived, I heard them talking about locking up so we hurried. I picked up 1 item, and made a single quick pass to see if there were any other items we were interested in. I simply ASKED when the sale opens tomorrow for half price day, and since the sale was done for the day I if could save a 5 mile 1 way trip if buy it now instead. She said "no" so I kindly handed it back to her and said I'll see her then, thank you! And smiled! She then explained that because I had picked the item up and moved it, that it's would NO LONGER be subject to sale pricing at all! I don't believe for a second it sold for full price after I left because the sale was over and doors locked. The woman was unnecessarily rude to me, and in front of my 19 year old daughter! She treated me like I had just tried to scam her!! When I just asked an honest question, I did nothing else but try to purchase a simple utensil for 5 bucks (still $3 more than the last one I bought!) Never had this been a problem at estate sales in my 30 years of routinely shopping at them. I fully believe that the owner is lying in her response to save face.

BEWARE! Recently, I engaged Detailed Home Solutions to sell my property within a home I had been maintaining while out of state. The proceeds were necessary for a short-term infusion of cash and to liquidate belongings I no longer needed. I needed to conduct the process remotely. When I spoke with Ingrid on the phone, she appeared to be engaging and on the ball, although she did not have any good things to say about her former employees, who now run a competing business. Before the sale commenced, we discussed items I did not want as part of the sale, and she agreed. Further, she would set aside anything that was personal. The sale proceeded in a timely fashion. The amount she could get for the items appeared lower than expected, but it is the Fargo market, so limiting expectations is essential. Plus, I expect that everyone thinks their items have more value than they do. I was resigned to that part of the process overall. The problems began when she sold an iPhone. The conditions for all the sales were advertised as as is. When the customer could not unlock the phone, Ingrid appeared to have given them my personal cell phone number, which they called and texted relentlessly. She decided to refund the customer for the item. There were a couple of other refunds that she gave in contravention of the stated conditions for all sales. Those are relatively minor things compared to what came next. She advertised, conducted the sale, and processed the transactions. All money was deposited into her business account. Following that, she deducted her commission and what she said were her expenses (although she has yet to provide me with a detailed accounting of costs). The remainder was sent to me as part of the total amount of money sent to me. Apparently, during the process, a customer was charged twice. That appears to have been an end-user error while using the Square app which is why Square refused to refund her processing fee. Ingrid contacted me in a panic, insisting that I had to pay her the entire amount of the over-billing. When I pushed back against that, she conceded that she would deduct her commission from the cost. Ingrid should also have removed her expenses, but she refused to do that, and she refused even to give a detailed breakdown of what those expenses were. She took absolutely no responsibility for it. She claimed she had absolutely no blame for her mistakes during a sale, even when the error was hers alone. When I pushed back against her on my responsibility for repaying the over-charge, she threatened to call the police. Then she threatened lawsuits. As I said, Ingrid assured me that anything she found that was obviously personal would be set aside and boxed up with all the rest of my belongings that were not on sale. Ultimately, she stated that she took photos of personal objects and documents, and she sold them and only let that slip when I was disputing her claims for money. Ingrid even sold my parents wedding photo. Further, she threatened she would post pictures online if I didnt pay her money or if I even wrote the review that you are now reading. Her texts are vicious (I have saved them all). Mine have been reasoned and respectful. My only reason for paying her is that going to court and dealing with this personally would require a trip back to North Dakota. Otherwise, I would have been happy to expose her in court. For the amount of money that is outstanding to me, its not worth the effort. My most significant concern is she takes absolutely no responsibility for any mistakes in billing that she makes and skirts her liability to the customer. She is anything but professional or courteous. I agree with the review that M posted to a tee. I had initially tried to contact her competitors first. They had not got back to me for several days. By the time they reached me, they were profusely apologetic that the message had been missed, but by that time I had already signed with Ingrid Act in haste, regret in leisure.
