Very friendly and helpful staff. They obviously cared about the facilities and cleanliness. The simple stuff stands out, you know? Water jug up front was always full and had ice. Dining room was cleaned and tidied up at all times. Staff was always present if I needed anything (my card got wiped, and I got locked out of the building....and someone was right there to let me in).
The other reviews about the breakfast aren't lying. I've stayed at a number of hotels, but this place had the best breakfast (it might be powdered eggs...but it's REALLY GOOD powdered eggs...and I KNOW powdered eggs -- the best and worst of 'um). They even had cinnamon and nutmeg out for the coffee... Didn't know I liked nutmeg in my coffee until I stayed here. May have gone my entire life without knowing I liked nutmeg in my coffee. What a bleak prospect that would be.
Gal let me hang out in the lobby after checkout so I could work remotely while waiting on my dog's discharge. Even bothered to give me some leftover cookies that hadn't gotten eaten after breakfast.
I could really go for my dog not seeing the emergency vet in another six months...but if she does...I'd stay here again.
