    I'm writing with extreme concerns as to the professionalism of the services of the Stonefield property management. Firstly, in regards to the condition of the property upon our arrival. -The master bedroom bathroom was missing a door. -The master bedroom door was missing a door handle. -the master bedroom closet door had a dented hole in it. -The master bedroom bathroom bath fossit was missing it's plug for the shower. -The master bedroom bath drain was clogged with knots of hair plugging the drain. -The 2nd bedroom folding closet doors was off it's hinges. -The 2nd bedroom blinds were torn up and never replaced. -The washer and dryer connections were completely filthy. -The main entrance door was scuffed and scratched up especially around the handle. -The first bedroom blinds were also ripped up. -The stove tops were caked in burned grease. -The rubber sealing around the garage door was ripped to shreds. -there were dented holes in nearly every wood door as well. -multiple instances of the dishwasher malfunctioning. -the ceiling leaking water through the closet door frame and also leaking through the light and fan fixture above my bed which also seems like an electrical hazard. -the upstairs pipes leaking through the first floor ceilings above the entrance hallway and kitchen. Secondly, we had requested services on a lot of these items and half were never fixed or just brushed off considered lacking in importance. This was even more concerning when I requested something be done about water leaking through the master bedroom lighting fixture just to be told, "that happens"??? On top of the damages to the sealing around the garage and the damages to the window blinds never being repaired the entire time we lived at the property. I understand the property was in very bad condition prior to our move in, hence why our move in date was postponed. But whoever prepared the property prior to our move in had to be aware of these issues, especially with the extend cleaning effort that were needed as explained to me prior to our move in. And I would hope with it needed an entire month of work, the list of items would have been apparent as well, yet now I'm being told that my entire deposit was taken in order to fix damages my family caused? And I'm only finding out about these damages after reaching out a full 40 days later asking about why I hadn't received any of my deposit back, just to be informed you're also expecting an additional payment from me?! I would hope there is an amount of understanding for my frustrations in this matter when my wife and I worked very hard to leave the property in a very reasonable condition in comparison to how it was received. But frankly I'm quite disappointed with this current standing situation. I've reached out to the property management including the manager. They requested photos which I provided and in response heard nothing except for a letter in the mail about me being sent to collections for the additional costs required for the repairs you claim I caused.

    This truly is a gilded apartment. It looks nice on the outside but dig a bit deeper and youll find out that this place is not what it appears. Maintenance is always very slow normally and you have to call for emergency maintenance if you want anything done on time. Even then it may not get done. I put in a request about a month ago and I have received no word on it (not even a message saying it cant be done.) The people at the office are not always there and dont always give a straight answer. Its partially understandable since both maintenance and the office are understaffed (and all of them are friendly, but thats about it.) Gym is nice enough.

    We have really enjoyed living here. The location is close to stores and restaurants and the school bus comes right to the property. The apartments are a really good deal and comfortable. The management team is super friendly and professional and goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. Maintenance staff is also very friendly and professional. The garages are a generous size and it's nice to live in a pet friendly community. We are happy we settled here when we moved to Bismarck!
