USE ANOTHER FLORIST! Trust me, you'll be glad you did.* I placed an order online Saturday with 1800Flowers thinking they would know of a reputable florist in the Wake Forest area. I am from out of town but needed to send an arrangement for a funeral. I have used 1800Flowers before with no problems. Placed this order Saturday for delivery on Monday at the Funeral Home – requested delivery for the afternoon. Should have been plenty of time even if they were closed on Sunday. I received a confirmation so imagine my shock when I arrived at the funeral home for the family visitation Monday evening and my arrangement was nowhere to be found. I contacted 1800Flowers when I left the Funeral home (about 9:00pm Monday night). The rep told me there were not any notes so the order should have been delivered. After talking to her for a few minutes, I was able to get the name of the actual florist – Woody’s Floral Gallery. I looked them up and called their phone number. I knew they would not be open but I felt they needed to know that such a LACK of customer service is unacceptable! I left a message for them explaining that if they were unable to meet the order the least they could have done was call or email me so I could make other arrangements. I also provided my phone number in my message in case they had any questions regarding the issue. I thought they may want to apologize or at least find out what happened so it doesn’t happen to someone else. It’s now Wednesday and I’ve heard nothing. I am not surprised after reading the other Google reviews. The owner/employees obviously do not care that their inability to do their job has negative effects on others. I typically don’t write reviews but flowers are supposed to elicit feelings of comfort or happiness but dealing with Woody’s has done neither. I STRONGLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE.
