    Our home was built 3 years ago by Winslow Homes. Upon move in, everything appeared perfect. Over the first year it became evident that a lot of the contractors Hired by Winslow to do work had cut corners and used cheap materials. We had an amazing guy at Winslow that first year handling our concerns. He was quick to schedule any issues that needed fixing but our year warranty walk through didnt happen on time due to schedule delays due to Covid. We understood this and we were flexible to wait. However, after the meeting and giving this guy our list, a few things were fixed but then he left the company and all of our other fixes were forgotten. We have a hole in our carpet that was never repaired, cracks where corners of trim come together, front porch lights that are not working and never did, a strip under our carpet seam that has nails poking up in our feet, vents that are not properly attached to our ceiling, all of these were given to the guy from Winslow and discussed at our (late) year walk through. Now that this guy is no longer with the company, Winslow claims they didnt hear about these issues so they cannot do anything for us. We recently discovered our fireplace was never properly installed and our roof was potentially not done well and Winslow takes no fault in whom they hired for these jobs during our build or ensuring properly done work during our build. They just tell us we are out of warranty. We understand that but quality work and quality contractors is expected in a new build and keeping the year warranty promises that were made. My 3 year old house shouldnt be falling apart.
