I am updating my review on this as the years have not been kind to this hotel. My family has been staying here for almost 20 years for family events / visits, and I personally have stayed 8 years (multiple times a year). The new management of this hotel is awful, and the hotel has suffered. The price has increased significantly while the room cleanliness, upkeep of the hotel, and amenities have dropped significantly. The last straw occurred on our most recent stay: We just attempted to stay in March 2024, and reserved a king room. Upon enter the room we discovered there was no hot water available (ice cold shower). After talking to the manager, he admitted the hot water heater was not working and knowingly put us in that side of the building. We were then moved to a smaller double room, which had electrical issues and a very loud buzzing sound in the bathroom. We asked for a full refund and left. After that, I found that my card was charged, refunded, and then charged a SECOND time for the stay after the manager stated he cancelled the reservation (he only modified it). When I approached the manager to get a printed copy for proof of refund, he was rude and argumentative, and at one point said I was trying to intimidate him. He also said "that didn't happen" when asking him why I was charged a second time, and I had to offer to show my CC statement before he would even look at his billing info. Honestly, for the price just pay a little more and stay in Jonesville for a much better experience. They've lost this entire family and our business.

This is an honest review! Location was great with easy access to the interstate. The man or owner was extremely sweet, so they get lots of kudos for that. Other than that, this place is rough. The first room they booked me in had a huge tear/rip in the curtain and I asked to be moved because not only could you see in and out but I didnt want to be charged for someones mistake. The owner kindly changed my room. The second room had paint falling from the ceiling and the windows hadnt been cleaned. We saw no bugs, but the beds were extremely uncomfortable and the room needs lots of updating and cleaning. It appears that they only do the bare minimum. Breakfast was literally just a waffle. The soda and snack machines had signs saying out of order. They are trying to stay afloat I am sure, but it would make more money if it was updated and taken care of. We are just thankful for the stay, but wouldnt book again.
