        Drove over an hour. Walked in and only 1 young lady in showroom, she said she was busy on the computer but would help us in a minute. We walked around looking and waited. She finally came over and showed us some remnants and we said we were interested in a tile and could we give her the number to find out a price. Turned around and she was sitting back at her desk. She just walked away and left us standing there. We decided if she wasn't interested in helping us we weren't interested in buying and walked out. Lost a sale today. Everyone recommended this place. Poor customer service to say the least.

        Rachel with Byrd Tile is the most wonderful consultant. She listens and offers amazing design support, including helping me restore an historic house from the 1920s with historically accurate tile. I have used Byrd tile for 5 projects now and have at least 5 more Ill use them with again. The variety of tile they offer is wonderful!

      Good Afternoon Mr. Davis, We are very sorry to hear you had an unsatisfactory experience on your recent visit to our Winterville showroom. We strive on having the best customer service in the industry, and we sincerely apologize that your expectations were not met in that regard. We are absolutely open to the public to walk in and browse, but we express on all media platforms that our design consultation is by appointment only. We only have two designers in our Winterville showroom, which means they stay very busy throughout the day. Not only meeting with appointments, but doing the design research for upcoming appointment, processing all their own orders, and being available to answer questions for walk-in customers. WE do not intend to offer this as an excuse but rather to shed light on our design staff when only one person is available to both appointments and walk-in customers. If there is anything we can do to correct the situation and offer our design expertise, please let us know. We will do everything in our power, given the opportunity, to prove to you our customer service is at a level you would hope to be met with.
