        Make sure you say you're from Forsyth county or they will turn you away. Never had an issue dumping here but was recently turned away because according to them, Gumtree rd is not in Forsyth.

        I'll drive out of my way to go here. Hanes mill is very similar. Cars and whiners are not catered to, weigh and pay if you know your empty weight, back in where they tell you, dump or unload, and leave or reweigh and pay if you don't know your empty weight. It's very simple, if you don't want your car or suv in mud when it rains then either wait until it dries or pay someone to haul it away for you. Don't expect a paved road for you to unload you trunk load.

      Thank you for your 4-star review. There are restrictions on what is accepted at this landfill. It is not a municipal solid waste facility like our landfill on Hanes Mill Road (which also accepts construction & demolition debris). As per our state permit, the materials disposed of at Old Salisbury must be related to construction and demolition. Yard waste must go to our Forum 52 or Overdale facilities. Household hazardous & electronic waste are accepted free-of-charge from Forsyth County residents at 3RC EnviroStation. See details and lists at https://cityofws.org/3RC.
