Holiday Forsyth Court

This place is full of bed bugs! I have several friends who live there and they both have bed bugs now. They did not have them when they moved in, so they had to come from the facility. I would go so far as to say this entire place is infested... the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors have bed bugs on them. They move residents around once they discover bed bugs in their rooms - but that only spreads them quicker. I spoke with someone who had her mother in law there several years back and she had issues with bed bugs even then. They are now running terrific pricing for move-in specials..... thats because theyve lost so many residents as a result of bed bugs. Management is NOT informing the new residents that they have bed bugs, in fact they lied to one resident and told her that they did not have bed bugs when she inquired about it. Ive seen the bed bugs myself, Ive seen pictures of them in rooms there. To add insult to injury - they are raising rents on the existing residents while allowing new residents to move in at much lower cost. As far as Im concerned they should shut this place down. Its disgraceful how they are allowing these seniors to be eaten alive at night by bed bugs and are doing nothing about it. Spraying poison doesnt kill bed bugs, it only drives them to another room. Holiday Forsyth Court is owned by a huge corporation - Im sure the people at the top arent living with bed bugs. They are taking advantage of our seniors. Most of these seniors live on a very fixed income, they cant move elsewhere and are afraid to speak up. Shame on Holiday Forsyth Court - its all about turning a profit at the expense of our seniors. Do not allow a loved one to move to HFC, and if you have a loved one there you may want to consider moving them out as soon as their lease is up.

Some very warm and friendly staff who seem to go above and beyond to please and accommodate. The lunch was delicious and everything was clean and orderly around the building. Nice courtyard, attractive and secure for walking or just relaxing outdoors. Conveniently located with several restaurant and shopping choices nearby. Residents seemed happy to be there and very proud of their home!

I have found Forsyth Court to be a place of healing and love from my many friendships here. I love that there is a nurse here on an, as-needed basis. I also love that physical therapy and occupational therapy are available here. I have recovered from 2 major surgeries in the short year that I have been here. The support that I have gotten here has been outstanding.
