    Horrible horrible customer service. DO NOT GO TO Dr. Sheridans office. They need to be reported for fraud. After paying nearly $500 this office has held our records and prescription information hostage. Use this optometrist AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!! They will tell you one thing upfront and then completely change their story after you have your eye exam and tell you that you can send in your bill for reimbursement but DO NOT do it because you will never get your money back. The scretary has no clue what she is talking about. We werent the only patient in the waiting room with this same exact issue of her giving totally FALSE information that day. On our visit: 1. Called ahead to make sure she took our insurance. The secretary told us yes they took our insurance. 2. Husband and I took time out of our work schedules to make an appointment. 3. It wasnt until AFTER the appointment that the scretary treated us as if we didnt belong and acted as if we had no coverage / money after rudely informing us that they SUDDENLY no longer accept our insurance. 4. We needed up paying nearly $500 out of pocket for the two exams. Naturally we were very upset about it and vowed never go back to Dr. Sheridans office. Customer service was unbelievably unsatisfactory. 5. What made matters worse is when we called to have our prescriptions sent over to another company who took our insurance the secretary said we needed to come in for another I exam!!!!?!?! The scretary sent my prescription but vehemently REFUSED to send my husbands prescription. Her rational? She said his prescription was expired. How could his prescription be expired and mine not expired when we both took the exam at the same time? After repeatedly trying to explain that we just need our records and prescription faxed to an office that accepted our insurance the secretary ended up hanging up the phone on me. When I called back she refused to pick up. If you want to waste your time, be told in accurate information and be scammed out of money then go to this office. After paying nearly $500 this office has held our records and prescription information hostage. Do not use this optometrist.
