Don Express

Amazing wonderful well seasoned food. I got the salmon and the chicken rice balls and both beef rice bowls. I was blown away by the flavor! Came back the following day just to bring my husband. Service has room for improvement. Will happily return again.

I was excited to try this place but I didn't enjoy the chicken katsu don that I ordered. the chicken katsu was very tough for some reason, and the rice was water-logged, with a puddle of water sitting at the bottom. The egg was nice and fluffy and tasty though.

The food was very delicious and hot. We had the chicken ramen ,pork gyoza and takoyaki. I would recommended it. All that and 2 frinks for 60$.

We discovered Don Express based on positive internet reviews. The establishment exudes a cozy and relaxed ambiance, which we found quite appealing. However, its worth noting that the seating capacity is limited. Despite the chilly weather, patrons were compelled to sit outdoors due to the indoor area being completely occupied. Regarding the culinary offerings, our experience was a mix of hits and misses. The Gyudon (Japanese Beef Rice Bowl) and onigiri rice left us underwhelmed, lacking the expected depth of flavor. On the other hand, we thoroughly enjoyed the ramen, Takoyaki, and the delectable Japanese Fried Chicken (Karaage Chicken). In terms of pricing, Don Express strikes a reasonable balance. Additionally, ample parking spaces are available outside the establishment.
