Bleu Restaurant and Bar

Was very under-whelming. The menu sounded great and we tried a little of everything. Calamari was undercooked and cold. Oyster Rockefeller were just bad. Lobster man n cheese was flat out disappointing. The side salad was fine (sad that that's the highlight) and the loaded potato soup wasn't worth mentioning. Save your time and money and try somewhere else.

Update 4/6: REDEEMED! The entire staff was professional and friendly, the atmosphere was great and the food was excellent!! The bar was clean and organized. You can take all 5 of these well earned stars, Emma and team! Previous 2 star review from last summer: We came in for a late lunch at the bar on a slow Friday afternoon. The place is beautiful and classy. The man that greeted us was professional and welcoming. The food was great. The atmosphere and our lunch date was ruined by the snappy and messy bartender and other disruptive unprofessional staff. Seriously, it seemed more like we were at Dicks Last Resort based on the waitresses and bartender. From slinging plates at us, turning her back to talk to others after asking what we wanted, not even offering a drink menu, it only got worse. We were surprised at how she spoke to us and several others. We felt like an inconvenience and didnt bother with more drinks or desert because we were ready to leave. The bar back was cluttered with things that didnt belong and looked not just unorganized but like someones dirty apartment. We watched as they cleared the dirty lunch plates from the top of the wine cooler, in front of clean glasses but the pictures were taken after they cleaned up the plates and several to go boxes and cups. The more I looked the more I saw, like a Wheres Waldo picture. While walking by the cooler that seems to be where they put the dirty dishes, she knocked one off and food and glass went everywhere. More huffing and puffing was endured. Please clean it up, set and hold staff to higher standards. You lost revenue and a better tip from us today and in the future.
