Dont waste your time or money. Its been almost two years since Ive been seen at Banyan Tree & recently I was charged a lump sum fee for all my previous appointments. This business is the perfect example of why people would rather choose not to go to therapy. Ive gotten no explanation as to why my insurance all of the sudden didnt cover my appointments from two years ago. Ive emailed, called the office, sent family members in to try to get information because Im not even in Winston Salem & can not get a definitive answer to this charge, my last resort has been contacting attorneys who can better serve me & help me know my rights in this situation.

Before I found Banyan Tree and Jared I was basically just waiting around to die. The only thing that kept me going was the people around me that I loved. With Jared's guidance I was able to go from the mindset of despair, cynicism, and near hopelessness to something completely different. I learned to love and trust myself, to treat myself kindly, and to take a step back and notice the small beauties all around us. This process is very difficult. The best therapy in the world can not cure you if you don't work hard . There is no person you can pay to make the pain go away. You have to do that work yourself. It is not enough to listen, you must also practice. Practice like your life depends on it. I get how that might sound hopeless but I promise it isn't. It means inside all of us are tools for self healing. But many of us don't have the access to those tools or even know they exist. That's where your therapist steps in. Jared, my therapist, truly helped revolutionized the way I see the world and was nothing short of a northern star in my search for meaning. Find a therapist that is a good fit for you and do the hard work. You will thank yourself (and your therapist) one day, once you learn too. I know I did.

My therapist Brittany Stewart has been an absolute life changer. She is a great listener, and not only is she just a great listener but she assists in true personal mental health growth. I came to this office and told them my issues and they suggested Brittany Stewart and I am sure glad they did! Would recommend them to everyone.
