Don't rent from these people. I was a renter for almost a year and my apartment was NOT in livable conditions when I moved in. I only stayed because they charged a 800 dollar FEE along with RENT to move. This charge was not stated anywhere in our lease! There's mold in our walls and ceiling, our floors was sinking and our appliances do not work. Maintenence had ignored our repair requests for months and dont inform us when repairs have to be done. The only thing they bothered to fix and was able to completely fix was the floors. They refuse to refund me for renting an unhabitable space to me or fund my move as they are required to by law. I wish I never rented from this company! Literally any other company would actually take care of their renters. All they care about is money!

The teams on the properties are easy to work with as well as the corporate team. Overall, D&F is made up of great people that care about the residents.

We have some amazing employees on our teams who continue to aim higher each day to provide the best service to our residents. It's a pleasure to be part of the DF team in Wilmington!

I am a resident at mill creek apartments in Wilmington NC. It is very disappointing that the pool was closed, and still is closed after three weeks. We were informed of this being a safety concern because the emergency phone line was accidentally cut, which is completely understandable as health and safety is most important. However, how long should it take to get a line repaired? Is this a priority? Three weeks in the middle of the summer seems excessive. Also, residents have been unable to access the gym and laundry facilities since about April 28th due to renovations. We were told the timeframe was 6-8 weeks. This timeframe is now past. Overall, residents of this community are paying high rates to be able to enjoy what we were sold on but unfortunately have been unable to enjoy any of the amenities for weeks.
