Pine Valley Baptist Preschool

My son was treated horribly at this pre-school by the 2 year old teachers. Do not recommend. Seek elsewhere for your precious kiddos!

My children attended this school one for three years and the other for 6mths and they where NOT prepared for Kindergarten they are great at teaching the church but my child and others that I know that went to this school are Very behind in their letter sounds and reading in general they may have taught letter shapes but the kids have no idea how to use them,If you want your child prepared to attend a REAL school (elementary) I would suggest a different pre school

I dont know why, but I was led tonight to share about how wonderful it is at PVBC preschool.. my daughter is coming off a great week at school and I give all the credit to the staff for it! Shes been struggling with some not so good behaviors and instead of giving up on her, they have put new strategies in place to help her thrive!! I have been struggling at times seeing the best in my sweet baby girl and they have absolutely RENEWED my spirit and given me so much hope!! I am forever grateful for this place and that my daughter has been so well taken care of- because I know at times it hasnt been easy! Im sure its not easy working with kids all day, but the joy these teachers have I know comes from deep love for God and his little precious children. Forever grateful for this place oh and also- they took her to the potty EIGHT times in the span of 4 hours. Thats literally every 30 minutes. Potty training - check!!

This review was provided by a mom at the pre-school: Pine Valley Baptist Pre-School is an exemplary pre-school with outstanding leadership and a professional, experienced staff. All five of my children have attended Pine Valley Pre-school beginning at toddlerhood and they all received an excellent education which nurtured their academic, social, and emotional development. As a former teacher, I was extremely selective about choosing the right pre-school and out of the many I visited, Pine Valley stood out amongst the rest. The facility itself is warm, welcoming, clean and spacious. There are opportunities for children to stay for lunch bunch and various exercise classes throughout the year. They are also afforded the opportunity to attend music class, library and chapel time. The director and the teachers accommodate the individual child and are well-versed in various learning styles. My daughter who just started kindergarten at Wrightsville Beach Elementary School just completed assessments and has tested in the top of her class. I absolutely recommend Pine Valley Baptist Pre-school without reservation.
