Century Complete - Coastal Studio

My wife and I stopped by their community in Bolivia, NC last weekend when we were in town looking at houses. Nice looking community. We called and left a voicemail Sunday and got no return call. Tuesday I happened to be back in town to look at another place. I decided to call again. I spoke with a lady who answered the phone and advised the community manager for Mill Creek Cove would call me back. Here it is Friday and I haven't heard anything. My wife and I actually preferred one of their floor plans to others we had seen but if the customer service is this bad when someone wants to spend $250,000 with you, I can only imagine how bad the follow up customer service would be for warranty claims after we paid our money. Hard pass.

If I could rate WJ at zero stars, I would. Cheap, cheap, cheap. Built ugly cheap townhouses in my neighborhood and they got DESTROYED by the hurricane. His debris is everywhere and nothing was secured before mandatory evacuation. Came home to a port a potty in my driveway. He's too cheap to pay for dumpsters, so there's debris everywhere. Feel sorry for the people who bought his houses. They are terribly constructed and not worth it. I guess you get what you pay for. Awful. Do yourself a favor and use another builder.

If it were possible to give ZERO stars - I would! Currently waiting on a home to be finished being built which was signed for in AUGUST of last year. Originally was supposed to be finished in APRIL and here we are in JUNE still waiting. I’ll spare the very long history and details but here are the main points •the photos displayed online which are shown to help you pick which home you want do not match what you are actually getting •the lighting in my kitchen was supposed to be a pretty accent light and instead is an ugly fluorescent bar light meant for a garage •the flooring which was laid prior to other work being done is now destroyed from other construction and they refuse to replace it •they will not allow you to speak to anybody in management •the agents you work with tell you everything you want to hear but none of it is true •no matter what you do or say, your hands are tied and they do nothing to correct a situation or fix problems. The poor girl who just moved across the street was supposed to close on her house on January 9th and just closed 3 weeks ago. Whyyyyyy?! I highly suggest not purchasing a home from WJH
