Novant Health Lab Services - New Hanover

I am 28 weeks pregnant and went for a routine glucose screening. They told me to drink the required glucose drink and sit and wait for an hour. I drank the drink but ended up getting so uncomfortable because the lobby was freezing cold that I went and sat outside in front of the building. I noticed that all of the nurses had on jackets and the other patients were also complains about how cold it was in there. I came back inside after an hour and the staff at the desk told me that they would not be able to take my test since I had left the waiting room. It was extremely frustrating because I wasted two hours of my day and had to take unpaid leave from work. I tried to get the desk staff to contact the supervisor, but apparently she was completely unavailable. I called my midwives office to reach the administrator there, but she was also unavailable. I ended up leaving and not having the procedure done and not getting paid for those two hours that I spent in front of Novant health. I would seriously consider going somewhere else for lab testing because this place is a joke and they are unprofessional.
