The week that my wife and I decided we were selling our home, I reached out to Reko Daye to meet me at the driving range and asked him if he'd represent us in the process. Being that I knew him personally and had worked with him on numerous community service initiatives, I knew he was a man of good character and integrity. Additionally, he is one of the most creative people I know so we knew that combination would make for a successful home selling process. We came into the process as first-time home sellers and expected to sell at a price that Reko thought was too low for our market. That advice alone yielded us even more money once all the transactions were complete. Additionally, he went to bat for us with our negotiations and advised us well throughout the due diligence process. He was very knowledgeable but, the things he was uncertain of, he found an answer quickly and got back to us. Most of all, we appreciate Reko for taking our family's needs seriously. Having a toddler, he made sure that, when possible, we gave him some down time in the home since it was his first home and memories were being made. Professionalism can be learned but that sense of compassion is truly a part of who Reko is and we appreciated working with him from beginning to end. Thanks, Reko!

Joe and Valerie helped my mother in law and father in law close on their retirement home earlier in the year. It was a very smooth process and they were great at follow-up and communication. I met them both a little over 5 years ago, and unexpectedly received two blessings/mentors for my husband and I, as we were just starting our family. Joe and Val do good things for people not for the recognition, but because they actually love and genuinely care for people. It feels good to have friends/neighbors you can count on. If you want the REAL in realtor, you couldnt ask for a better group than Why Realty.

Joe and Valerie were amazing to work with. We decided to explore options to moving into a new home while the market was booming. Joe showed is a home two days later and we were under contract by the end of the same weekend. When it came to selling our house, Joe and Val came through and did a detailed walk through for us to be ready for showing our home to get the best offer. A few days later they came back to check on progress. Their photographer was great and did an amazing job taking the photos and virtual walk through. The house hit the market and Joe walked is through all of our options and offers step by step and offering his advice and guidance along the way. I would definitely recommend Why Realty.

5 stars hands down! I want to preface this review by first stating that I am friends with the owners and have known them for several years. But thats not Why I am giving five stars and thats what makes this review more important to me. I am not one to mix business and friendship, so to take the leap and use Why was a huge deal for my family. I initially contacted Joe in 2021 about selling our home in Wendell Falls (they have sold the most homes here out of any other realty company and really knew the market). We were moving out of state, so I asked for this to be kept low key amongst our friends until we were ready. Why made things happen so quickly, helped us decide which belongings to cut back on for showings, which repairs to make, and took excellent pictures and setup an amazing 3D virtual tour. Within 2 weeks we were on the market and sold to the very first showing at well over asking price. We were the highest priced resale in the neighborhood at that point. Yes that was the market at the time, but their marketing plan and having a showing lined up at the first possible opening played an important part in this. From there, the process was seamless and we were even able to close remotely while we were in Disney World! Fast forward 6 months, we had made the wrong move and contacted Joe again to let him know we wanted to come back to Wendell but due to the growth we werent sure where in Wendell. We were going to rent for several months but wanted him to keep an eye out for us. After getting back, we found a new build in progress. Why was able to help us navigate a very tricky contingency and even be able to make some last minute changes on what was supposed to be a spec home. All in all selling and buying 2 homes with Why in less than a year was nothing short of amazing. But this is where the friend part comes in. I dont believe that they did anything super special for us that they wouldnt do for any one of their clients. Both Joe and Valerie care about the experience and making the process stress free. We know other people who have used them and have had similar experiences. Its really just the Why way and everyone gets that from them. So as cliche as it sounds, 10 out of 10, would recommend, would use again (in fact we did). But not just because we are friends, because they care, do the right thing, and do good! I dont know a single other person in Wendell as actively involved in the good of the community through donations of both money and time. Sell a house get an ice cream! Stephen
