From the first meeting with the owner, Hugh, to discuss our project through the finished project (almost 8 months later), we were thrilled with the process and the outcome. Hugh & his crews were extremely professional, capable, diligent and respectful. Our rear screened porch looks like it was built when the house was built 7 years ago. We could not be more pleased and would have no problem recommending this company.

We are beyond pleased with our entire experience with Archadeck, Hugh Meenan, and his crew. From our first phone call to our last visit, it was a professional and first rate experience. The guys showed up when scheduled, worked hard and efficiently, and turned out first quality work. They left everything neat and clean. Because they are so good, they are in high demand. So, be prepared to wait to have your project come up on their schedule. But...they are well worth the wait. I would not hesitate to use Archadeck again.

Archadeck was a wonderful partner to choose to build our screened porch. They handled everything - the design (with lots of options for me to review), the permits, and all the work. Plus, their price was lower than two other companies that bid on our project. Their construction team was one of the most professional groups I've worked with, and they came up with solutions to some unexpected situations we hit related to keeping out bears and re-routing our furnace exhaust. The work was done ahead of schedule, at a very high quality, and they've been available and responsive to follow-up questions I had. We're currently reviewing a second piece of work with them, and I look forward to working with Hugh and his team again in the future.

After interviewing several builders, we chose the team at Archadeck of Western North Carolina To build our screened porch and grill deck. Simply put, our experience was amazing. Not only was the price competitive with other builders in the area, the level of service, attention to detail, punctuality and responsiveness was over and above our expectations. Beginning with our initial design consultation and contract, no detail was left undisclosed. Excellent references were provided and they continually keep us informed of the timeframe for the project. Once construction began, the crew was here five days a week from 8 to 4, rarely took breaks and did excellent, high-quality work. Permitting with the county was simple and we did not have to worry about any details being overlooked. Once construction was finished, the electrical and painting teams were excellent, on time and equally high-quality in their work. We can’t say enough good things about this company. Thanks to Hugh and the team at Archadeck of western North Carolina for creating a space for us to enjoy for many years to come!

Very disappointed with our experience. Hugh & Debbie came to our house on 8/26 to quote us a porch screen project. Hugh gave us a very rough high level estimate & stated he would provide a firm quote proposal in a day or 2. 10 days after their visit I called their office & indicated we've never received a quote. The agent indicated I would get a call back that afternoon. We not only didn't get a call back that afternoon, we never received a call back or a firm proposal. In the meantime, we contacted another company. They were very responsive and their firm quote was 250% cheaper than the high level ballpark Hugh gave us. That's not a misprint. This is for the exact same screening system including labor. I can't speak for the quality of the work since for the above reasons we didn't hire Archadeck. We are extremely disappointed with the experience.
