Deri is such an awesome person to work with. When we started looking to redesign our space, we met with Deri and another designer. The other designer wanted us to spend a minimum of $20,000 per room or else she wasnt going to touch the project. We met with Deri and told her what we were looking to do to our space. She asked us what our budget was and never suggested that we had to spend a certain amount per room. After our first meeting we decided Deri would be the interior designer we would select to transform our home. Deri is very professional, and knowledgeable about what makes sense and what doesnt. She is not pushy but listens to what we want and makes suggestions based on her experience taking into consideration what we like also. She is so humble and would get down on her knees to do whatever it takes. I remember when our sofa table was delivered, my husband was out of the country and Deri stopped by to drop off some items. She saw the huge box that was delivered, and I told her the furniture would stay in the box till my husband returned. Deri was not having any of that (waiting till my husband returned home to open the box). That same night (yes it was not during the day), we both unpacked the box and took that huge piece of furniture out of the box and placed it where it was supposed to be. From high quality furniture selection to selecting accessories, paint colors, Deri did everything. She returns texts and phone calls promptly. She has so far done my living room, dining room, bathroom. I could go on and on about Deris work and how she provides exceptional customer service. We consider Deri as a friend. Deri and her team also decorated my home for Thanksgiving and Christmas. It was so beautiful and we had lots of compliments about the dcor. Deri transformed my house into a home, and it looks so gorgeous. Deri exceeded our expectation, and we will definitely utilize her service again in the future. I highly recommend Deri and her team at Tranquil Designs.

My wife and I searched for a home for over three years. Once we found a house that we both loved, then we were met with the challenge of remodeling. Of all the homes we visited, not one of the newer models met our expectations. So, we settled on an older home because of the space it afforded and its character. However, there was quite a bit of work needing to be done to make the house our own. Hence the task of finding an interior decorator that would take our project and make it her own while still meeting our expectations. After three weeks of searching and interviewing, we found Deri Washington. We live in Wilmington, NC and settled on a designer in Raleigh, NC!! Our interview with Deri proved quite productive and intriguing. Deri presented us with a design and plans for our home that blew us out of this world. Deri began our project and gave us strict instructions to not visit the home until the work was completed. So, with much restraint, we obliged. After a month of painting, furnishing, and coordinating, it was time to see what the outcome was. When we entered the home, we were truly amazed at the level of detail that went into remodeling our home. Deri turned our home into a retreat and a space that we could not only be proud of but one that we could enjoy with our family and friends. Deri exceeded our expectations and blessed us with her gift of transformation. It is unbelievable to see what she was able to do with our home. It truly looks like a totally different space. Deri is a gifted interior designer that can be trusted to provide exceptional customer service and listen to all of your requests. Once she has all the information she needs, look out!! You will be thoroughly satisfied and happy that you chosen her.

Deri was AMAZING. I moved to NC and contacted Deri at Tranquil Designs. She responded immediately. Great ideas and creativity. She listened to what I wanted for my home and used her creativity to design my home into what I never imaged it could look like. Deri was very kind and professional. Deri is so sweet and listens to your concerns. I hired her to pick out a LVP flooring for my downstairs. She invited me to join her to pick out flooring at Raleigh warehouse. She gives you a very personalized experience to accommodate your decorating needs. I felt like she was my best friend during this entire experience and still is a good friend. The floor is absolutely gorgeous. I couldnt have done this expensive project without her help!!

Working with Deri and her team was like a dream come true!! I did a major remodel on my home (all lighting, kitchen remodel, bathroom remodel, among more), and Deri was there every step of the way. You can tell she truly has the best interest of her clients in mind. Der listened to what I wanted while still always giving me multiple options, coordinated directly with the contractors, and everything came out beautiful and exactly the way I wanted. I really couldn't ask for more. The way Deri listens to her clients and is there throughout the whole process made the whole experience fun, even through the stressful moments, and my house now feels like a home. Thank you Deri!!
