Cannot say enough good things about Preferred Living Solutions and the entire team. If you are having to handle the myriad of issues around an aging parent or loved one, don't think you have to do it on your own. The experience they have assembled is invaluable. And they handle everything in such a caring and professional way. I have utilized their services for both my mom and my aunt and can't imagine having to do that without their assistance. When my sister entered long-term care, we felt powerless and confused. We had little knowledge or past experience with this sector. Our care manager, Martha Soyars with PLS, has proven to be an invaluable resource. She is knowledgeable about a wide range of care issues, compassionate, and personable. She gets things done. It is not cheap, but your care manager can do as much or as little as you specify. Living a good distance away, it is comforting to have someone trustworthy close at hand.

Some of the best people I know work within this organization, with the CEO being the best of the best. If either of my parents were still living they would definitely be receiving services from Preferred Living Solutions!

Michael worked with my parents for over a year in Cary, NC. He was communicative, kind, professional and came through on multiple occasions for us where we needed him or a team member in a pinch. His weekly write-ups were thorough and very useful for us to keep tabs on any areas of concern. We really enjoyed working with him on a personal and professional level. We recommend him and his team without reservation!

What would I do without the phone number of my care manager easily available in my cell contacts? How does Preferred Living Solutions assist me, and my family? "Let me count the ways..." With late-onset Multiple Sclerosis, yet still independent in many ways, living in my own home with regular helpers most every day, Preferred Living Solutions, or PLS, has supplied what I need or request. Since mid-2016 I've had excellent geriatric care manager from PLS in place. Almost ten years!! Superb colleagues for me. *Understanding my need for much information. *Researching with me so we're both on the same page. *Delighting in physicians who are compassionate, knowledgeable, understanding and professional (I do screen closely...no gas-lighting allowed). *Being liaison between doctors (this IS a feat!!). *Positive communication and helps between care manager and family; they are there when we need them! And more, too. *Listening to my concerns. *Sharing laughter, stories and tears. *Being present for me, their client. Thank you, thank you to founder Melanie, with special appreciation for my care managers Vivian, Amy, and now Megan my new care manager. All experienced persons in this specialized field, with open, understanding personalities supporting their respective expertise.
