I was in a very well appointed room. Very comfortable bedding and I really liked the bathroom size and lighting. I'd definitely recommend anyone staying at this location.

Our room had bed bugs, the TV was broken The shower was broken and the bed laid like a bed of rocks our door wouldn't even lock

You never know what you miss until you don't have it. While being one of the most reasonably priced hotels in Sylva, there were a few unexpected things I missed. The room is smallish, and there was no room for a side chair, so basically I had to sit or lie down on the bed. There was a desk chair but that's not comfortable. The bathroom has no hook behind the door to hang clothes while bathing. The shower had no hot water, and we were told that this might happen if the room hadn't been rented in awhile. Then at check out the next morning, we were told that some rooms have the hot and cold water switched. Would've been nice if it was labeled. The one drink machine was empty. The breakfast was very simple and not kept stocked. On the plus size, it was clean, extra towels were available, the beds were fairly comfortable, and we had a nice view of the mountains.
