From day one (Forklift Operators) you're told if you hit anything, tell someone, you won't get in trouble or be fired!!!! I hit an overhead door with my lift (3rd shift) & told the person in which I was directed to tell if anything occurred; Who is not a SUPERVISOR but the "Acting" Supervisor on 3rd shift (shipping) until I got fired. I got suspended & subsequently Fired without having the chance to defend myself or present facts & or witnesses that should have allowed me to retain my job. First shift receiving supervisor put in his "two week" notice last week after being there from "day one" two & half years ago; 2nd shift receiving & 3rd shift shipping don't have supervisors at all. They gave a forklift operator the 1st shift supervisor position after being there 3 months because nobody else wanted it. They previously FIRED AN ENTIRE SHIFT in shipping because they didn't like the way the supervisor was handling things!!!! Between phone calls & emails, I waited over 2 months for this job, turned down multiple other jobs in the process; only to be treated like a filthy animal.

I worked at Ontex for about a year, started as an operator 2 and ended as an operator 1. I left and quit the company because Jaime the supervisor informed me that my operator 1 pay was going to be about 23.00 an hour but when Fran(Jaime's boss) came and gave me my promotion paperwork to sign as an operator 1 the offer was for 21.74 an hour. Fran told me "that all operator 1's on first shift make the same amount" and that statement was incorrect. I asked several other operator 1's if they were making 21.74 an hour and they told me they were making more and I just can't tolerate being lied to. Plus they have several people that should have been fired but are still there. I reported a coworker and wrote a statement like I was told to by my supervisor Chestly, and nothing was done. I rather start over with a company that pays their employees fairly and that don't lie to their employees and that appreciate the hard work you put in. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Please don't leave a long term good paying job to come work for Ontex cause u are going to regret it.

Nice people, got there 2.5 hours early and they took me immediately. Got me in and out of there.

Had a 10:00 pu, didnt get till 12:30, got the door almost right away, loaded in 20 minutes. Thank you. P.S. They require 2 straps or load locks to pu a load.
