        I learned a valuable lesson: always ensure that your request is completed as per your instructions. In September, I called to cancel all of my policies, and thought everything was taken care of. However, a few months later, I received a letter from collections saying that I owed Nationwide money. When I called to find out what was going on, I learned that my policies had not actually been canceled as I had requested. It was frustrating to realize that I had wasted money because of their mistake. At first, I didn't want to switch insurance companies, but I had no choice because Nationwide wouldn't insure my new build. Now, I'm glad I switched because my new insurance company handles requests more efficiently and with more empathy.

        I had a minor problem that was not being handled correctly by the corporate office. Kristy fixed it for me. Very satisfied and glad to have a local office where you can talk face to face.
