    Lately our power has been blinking multiple times and going out. Sometimes it comes back on and sometimes not. A lot of times it is in the evening when we are trying to prepare meals. Several weeks ago it was off 2 hrs which is not unusual. We hope you get the problems resolved very soon. Off again!

    I live bordering Energy United's Northcross power substation. Near our property line a large elm tree died last year. A few larger limbs from the elm fell during a recent storm into my yard. I contacted EU and Steve McCorkle came to look at the tree. Today Asplundh showed up to remove the dead tree. They did an excellent job and were careful not to damage any of the trees in my yard. A shout out to: Steve, Lynwood Graham, Gary Miller and Charles Maxwell for a job well done!!!

    Have lost power and every phone number to report outage cuts off before connecting..we are sitting in the dark.

    This company will send you 1 email if you are late on a payment. My wife forgot to pay the electric bill as it was supposed to be on auto pay. Somehow that got turned off. They email us a bill. She doesn't see the bill. 2 weeks later I get a disconnection warning in the mailbox. Walk inside and my power has been shut off. They sent me a warning late and I still was charged $40 reconnecting fee. The manager was super unhelpful and didn't seem to understand why it's wrong to cut someone's power off without giving then a physical warning in the mail on time. This is a money hungry company that does not care about customer satisfaction all.

Hi Trey, We are sorry to hear that you have had a bad experience. EnergyUnited takes disconnecting power very seriously and we work hard to notify our members in multiple ways so this can be avoided. Balances are first displayed on the initial bill, then marked as past due on a subsequent bill. A disconnection notice is sent shortly after the past due bill. Both the bill and the notice list the future disconnection date. We also make a courtesy phone call as a last notice. Since your wife has an email address on file, we send these notices via email as well. You are also able to check your balance through the My EnergyHub app or web portal as well as through our phone system. If you are not receiving these notices, please make sure to call our member support team at 1-800-522-3793 so we can make sure your information is up to date. We charge a reconnection fee, which helps us recoup costs associated with additional contact, possible truck rolls, etc. We are a not-for-profit electric utility that is owned by the consumers we serve. We are governed by a board of directors elected by members like you with a goal of providing at-cost electric service. We hope that this helps explain our disconnect process and also what it means to be part of a member-owned cooperative. Thank you!
